Description
Human Liver Sinusoidal Endothelial cells were isolated from normal human liver tissue. Passage 1, cells are ship in proliferating culture with a confluency of >90 %*. ENDO-Growth Medium (MED001) is recommended for culture. Cells have an average additional population doubling levels >15 when cultured.
*cells are shipped at 90% confluence. However, confluence can be lost during shipping. Please allow for 1-4 days to reach 90% confluence again.
Characterization of the cells
- Cytoplasmic VWF / Factor VIII: >95% positive by immunofluorescence
- Cytoplasmic uptake of Di-I-Ac-LDL: >95% positive by immunofluorescence
- Cytoplasmic PECAM1 >95% positive by immunofluorescence
Human Liver Sinusoidal Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, and mycoplasma.
*cells are shipped at 90% confluence. However, confluence can be lost during shipping. Please allow for 1-4 days to reach 90% confluence again. As the cells are shipped live, extreme weather (including extreme cold or heat) can be a factor if we are able to ship or not.
Cells are prepared and manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment and ISO 5 cleanroom.
