A potent and selective, cell permeable inhibitor of γ-secretase that inhibits the cleavage of both amyloid precursor protein and Notch, IC50s ~ 3 nM [1,2]. Inhibits growth and induces differentiation of neuroblastoma cells [3]. Induces stem cell neuronal differentiation [4].
